Dimension Software is excited to announce thet the new tools for creating and impoting Fixed Length Files with EDIView for TaskCentre are now in beta.

Like the existing EDI file tools the Fixed Length File tools also use an interactive editor for specifying the file format. The tools will read most structured Fixed Length Files including files with file headers and footers, document headers and footers etc.

Fixed Length Files are heavily used when interfacing with banks and also in some EDI-type applications.

The tools are expected to be released for public use later this month.
